| Armidale where we had just a couple of nights is a lovely and well preserved old city. The railway station is particularly well restored. After Armidale, we travelled toward home on the New England highway passing through Glen Innes on the way. Glen Innes is interesting and it has a Celtic tribute called the Australian Standing Stones. The stone placement is modelled on the Ring of Brodgar [Scotland's Orkney Islands] where we visited on our big trip [2012] |
