Up Eastern Hokkaido - Kushiro, the Shiretoko peninsula, then Korsakov (Russia) Prev Next Slideshow

For these few days we cruise the east coast of Japan's second largest island, Hokkaido, stopping at Kushiro and then cruising the Shiretoko Peninsula. Unfortunately, Japanese Coast Guard rules mean that this ship can't be any closer than 3 nautical miles from the coast; about 5.5km, so a close-up look at the coastline is not possible. Korsakov in the far south-east of Russia is then our next port of call.
