| Not having stayed on the Gold Coast for a very long time we decided on the Broadwater Tourist Park at Southport for one week that included Joy's birthday. It's a lovely park right on the water and has a boat ramp inside the park for customers and permanent residents. Most of our time just sightseeing, eating out and a little bit of (unsuccessful) fishing near the Southport Seaway and some glimpses of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie set near Wavebreak Island. |
