| On our return to Cairns from "The Tip" we took a few hundred kms side trip to Weipa to see the Bauxite facilities - not a lot to see there, but apparently a great crabbing spot if we'd had the boat with us. Following that and after passing through the Atherton Tablelands, we visited Etty Bay (Cassowary Coast) where we were lucky enough to see a couple of the threatened Cassowaries. |
