| A short drive north on the Stuart Highway to Mataranka (NT, pop 250). Elsey Cattle Station is located 21 kms south from Mataranka where the film "We of the Never Never" is set. Mataranka is also famous for its hot springs, and we were also fortunate to be here for their annual Never Never Festival and rodeo. |
