Up From the air, the Bungle Bungles, Lake Argyle and Argyle Diamond Mine Prev Next Slideshow

The Bungle Bungles is an impressive area of natural beauty in Purnulu National Park, south of Lake Argyle. From the air, the black and orange domes are an impressive sight, rising 200 metres above the plain and containing deep gorges. The road into the Bungles is suitable for 4WD vehicles only, so we decided on a sightseeing flight rather than try to ride the scooter some 100+ km round trip on a rough road. Seeing the Lake Argyle and the Argyle diamond mine from the air were additional benefits.
