| Leaving Kununurra, we travel south along the Great Northern Highway, past the access roads to the Bungles, Argyle Diamond mine and some of the biggest pastoral properties in Australia - namely, Lissadel, Mabel Downs, Alice Downs, Springvale and others. We made stopovers at Leycesters Rest - Ord River, Halls Creek, Ngumpan Cliff Lookout then Fitzroy Crossing. By the time we reach the first of our stopovers, we are in the south of the magnificent Kimberley region on our way to the north coast of WA at Derby. |
