Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is a monolith; a geological feature consisting of a single massive stone or rock. Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) is a massive pile of 36 weathered rock domes, estimated to be around 500 million years old. Kings Canyon has 270 metre high walls that rise above Kings Creek - not unlike Carnarvon Gorge in Queensland.
