Up Parkes, Shepparton then to the ferry from Melbourne Prev Next Slideshow

Parkes, NSW; The town is best known for "the Dish", the annual Elvis celebration, and of course Sir Henry Parkes, the Father of Federation, after whom the town was eventually named. Sir Henry Parkes was the Premier of NSW five times during the later 1800's. Our final stopover for two nights before the ferry trip was at Shepparton; the production centre for fruits from the Goulburn Valley.
