After Rome, we drove around 260km south to try to avoid more snow. Our first day in Naples reminded us (from our 2008 visit) just how dirty some of the old city streets are. That said though, there are some great sights in the historic town. The pizza at the famous Di Matteo was great. 

Pompeii town is a nice place to stay for a few days for our second visit.
