Prague Castle was long the seat of Czech kings and has been the seat of the president since 1918. The Gothic gem of the castle is the St Vitus, Wenceslas and Vojtech Cathedral. It was founded in the mid 14th century and stood unfinished for 500 years, to be finished only in the late 1920's.
