Up 076 - Yorkshire, North England Prev Next Slideshow

After Bury in Lancashire, we move North into Yorkshire. First stopping at York, one of the nicest cities in England (IMHO). From there, the two lovely coastal holiday towns of Scarborough and then Whitby. Whitby with its' lovely harbour and the Abbey which has been used as scenes in a Bram Stoker, Dracula movie; more significant though for Australians is that it was the place where Captain James Cook learned his seamanship before "discovering" Australia.
